Jeff Stevenson has been a physical health and physical education teacher for 16 years in Waterford. He has been a coach of multiple sports during the past 23 years. Jeff is currently athletic manager of his school, reproductive health supervisor and Health and P.E. Coordinator for Waterford Schools.
Jeff has been very innovative in implementing technology to promote personal health. He has brought in several hundred thousand dollars in grants throughout the district. Several grants provided classroom sets of heart monitors so students could learn how heart rate correlates to personal fitness. Jeff has also helped bring in Mountain bikes, Rollerblades and Rock walls into Waterford’s physical Education program. Jeff was awarded Waterford Foundation Teacher of the Year 2020. Pierce Middle School has won the Gold level of Wellness for the State 4 years in a row! Jeff resides in White Lake with his wife and daughter.
